This is a really good e-bike, it’s very sturdy and has great speed and acceleration. Big 26″ tires, easy to use and maneuver, great battery life, I’ve never had an issue with battery life. If I had one complaint it would be that the bike is so heavy… glad it’s electric or I wouldn’t be able to push it up the stairs haha, great bike!
This bike is pretty large but thanks to that 1200w motor this bike moves I put it in level 5 assist and cruise around town no problem. I installed the off road controller to remove the speed cap. I can now get up to 35mph, rugged bike I’m sure will last for years. I stand behind Hidoes b3. 100%Great buy, great bike.
Shipping Experience Made for a taller person. I am 6'2", and I cannot stand over the top rail.
My title sounds like a negative, but it is not. It is easy to sweep your leg over from the rear. Looks, power, and speed are great. I weight 385 lbs and this bike handles hills fine with little effort on my part. It cannot power me up a good hill on throttle alone, but in the highest gear pedaling at power 5 is effortless. I thought I would like the look, the battery pack just felt so so, but I really love it. It is my classic motorcycle feel. I put mirrors and a phone holder on it, it just looks great. Smooth comfortable ride, great seat and front shocks. You will need to tighten the gear cable occasionally, but that is simple, just turn the wheel. Standard for gear systems. Straight forward and easy to put together. You can’t beat the price, total value.
I am 68 and bought this because it is just not as easy to pedal up hills anymore. I love this bike. I may have 5 levels of pedal assist but you will not need them. I thought I would probably be using level 4 or 5 most of the time. NOPE. I stay in 4th or 5th gear and use pedal assist level 2 or sometimes 3 almost all the time. I don’t do mountain biking so it could be different for you but going up hills in 4th gear and using the throttle to assist is like nothing. Pedaling is extremely easy. We did 14.5 miles yesterday and the battery was still at 78%. I bought my wife the B10 and I wish I had bought the B3 as well. This bike is pretty tall and getting my leg over the seat to get going is a pretty high lift. I am 5’7″ and can’t touch the ground when sitting on the seat with the seat all the way down. The b3 and the b10 all extremely well built and the motor response is instant. You pedal or use the throttle you will instantly feel the lunge to go. We are back in the saddle so to speak with these e-bikes and enjoying cycling again.
My 16yr old opted for this bike to wait until he graduates to buy his own car cuz he likes antiques. This bike fits his style well. Easy assembly but no directions so had to watch the video on Amazon. No big deal, just wouldve been nice to have instructions for everything too. I think they couldve made it a lil lighter if they used plastic fenders but thats just a few ounces. The bike itself is quite heave. It feels like a smallish motorcycle. Im 47 and 270# and was able to get it up to 33.6 mph on flat ground. My son can get it up to 35 if he pedals. So I guess you have to pedal to reach max speed which is a lil bummer for a 16yr old but whatever. I feel Like well be doing some modifications but for now, its a fun bike to cruise around on.
One other complaint is that we cant seem to figure out how to make the headlight work. I thought thered be a switch orMaybe its auto on when you ride but nothing so far.
Over all I think its a good bike if youre looking for this style and something to go 28+ mph.
